SR 776/El Jobean Road from Flamingo Boulevard to Sam’s Club Entrance, Charlotte County, FDOT District 1
This project was designed to enhance the sight distance and safety for left-turning drivers and connectivity for bicyclists and pedestrians. The project provided eastbound and westbound offset left turn lanes on SR 776 at Toledo Blade Boulevard and a 6’ concrete sidewalk with a 4’ bicycle lane on the south side of SR 776 from Collingswood Boulevard to the Sam’s Club entrance. The design also involved retrofitted and new mast arms, intersection lighting analysis and design, and the addition of crosswalk, curb ramps, and ADA features.
