I-4/Selmon Expressway Connector, Hillsborough County, FDOT District 7
The design of the interchange removed Port of Tampa truck traffic from Ybor City with direct access to the Interstate. This project provided a connection between the Port of Tampa, the SR 618 Selmon Connector, and I-4. FDA provided the signing and pavement marking plans that included the design of three miles of the mainline, over eight miles of the ramps, and 51 sign panels on 25 sign structures, with the largest sign being over 800 square feet.
