Colonial Pedestrian Overpass Design/Build, Orange County, City of Orlando
This project provides pedestrians with a safe and aesthetically pleasing passage over busy Colonial Drive and the Sunrail Railroad tracks. FDA was responsible for the lighting and ITS elements. The lighting design included decorative lighting along the pathway, in-deck lighting on the bridge, and accent lighting on the piers approaching the bridge. The ITS design included a CCTV camera above and below the bridge to view traffic along Colonial Drive.
