Broadway Boulevard Trail Connector from Lakeshore Drive to Commonwealth Avenue/SR 33, Polk County, FDOT District 1
FDA is excited to announce the successful completion of the Broadway Boulevard Trail project. Polk City Elementary students and their neighbors are enjoying the added safety and connectivity that this asphalt trail project is providing. The project includes 0.78 miles of 10’ wide asphalt multi-use trail along the west side of Broadway Boulevard. Project elements include roadway, signing and pavement marking, modifying the existing drainage system to accommodate the path, maintenance of traffic, roadway lighting, Lighting Justification Report, environmental, and surveying.
