- Traffic Operations Studies – The staff at FDA has managed and performed numerous operational studies, signal retiming and signal inspection for FDOT Traffic Operations in District Five and District Seven over the last several years.
- Safety Studies – Our staff has worked extensively with FDOT Safety Engineers around the state to provide crash analysis reviews, corridor safety studies and special studies.
- Orange County School Assessment Program – Our staff is part of the team of engineers reviewing the safety and efficiency of pedestrian and bicycle access to Orange County Elementary Schools.
- I-75 at SR 80 Interchange Operational Analysis Report (Florida Department of Transportation District Seven) – FDA assisted in preparing an IOAR in Lee County. The analysis was based on current and projected traffic volume counts.
FDA analyzed several different interchange configurations: triple lefts, loop ramps, flyovers, tight diamonds and single-point urban diamonds. The analysis was performed using Synchro and SimTraffic to project queue lengths and intersection LOS. - District Signal Inventory (Florida Department of Transportation District Seven) – FDA is currently creating a traffic signal inventory for FDOT’s District Seven Office. One of the District’s motives for the creation of the database is to assist in the recovery efforts following a hurricane or other natural disaster. This database will be accessible to all stake-holders in the District.
The inventory will include pole information, controller contents, timings, photographs of all approaches and a detail of the intersection.
