Nocatee Elementary School Safe Routes to School, DeSoto County, FDOT District 1
Our design provided students with a safe, continuous path to and from school along SW Shores Avenue with the addition of new crosswalks at CR 760A and US 17 and school zone flashing beacons to warn drivers to reduce speeds during school pick up and drop off hours. This LAP project provided new sidewalks and crosswalks, and included signing and pavement marking, and drainage improvements.
